Brian Kinnerk takes over as President of Comfort Audio Inc, USA

Comfort Audio expands its organization in the US: with the appointment of Brian Kinnerk as new President of Comfort Audio Inc, Comfort Audio gains outstanding expertise as well as many years of experience on the American market. Brian Kinnerk replaces Ragnar Åhgren who has been President of Comfort Audio Inc since it was established in 2007. Ragnar will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

For the last 20 years, Brian Kinnerk has worked in the hearing healthcare industry in different executive leadership positions, building up efficient and competent organizations capable of supporting growth and success in the long-term.

“Working for Comfort Audio is a fantastic opportunity, for various reasons. First, I am a firm believer and have witnessed first-hand the real-world benefit to the hearing impaired that assistive listening devices deliver. And there are few things more rewarding than assisting in the development of a child’s education by providing solutions to overcome the challenges of hearing impairment”, says Brian Kinnerk, President Comfort Audio Inc.

Last year, Comfort Audio introduced Comfort Digisystem in the USA at one of the most important events of the year for hearing products – the AudiologyNOW! Congress in Chicago. At that occasion, Comfort Digisystem received the prestigious award Best New Product of the Year.

Comfort Audio is technology leader within the field of digital wireless microphone systems. Its products are used together with hearing instruments and implants since these are often not enough to provide the best possible speech or sound experience for the users. Comfort Digisystem is based on digital processing of sound signals and the latest radio transmission technology, which means persons with limited hearing can get back an excellent sound experience, enabling them to lead a perfectly normal life.
